currently shaving my engine bay. every hole and seam has been welded and ground down. should I skim it with evercoat rage extreme or evercoat metal glaze. should it be applied to bare metal? thanks in advance.

 

I used evercoat rage extreme. First i spray epoxy primer, them skim coated with the filler.

 

u can go to metal, use the Rage, then epoxy and paint...
or you can epoxy it, then use the Rage, then paint

metal glaze i would not use. doesnt have the thickness to shave an engine back.

 

wordd. the only reason i said metal glaze is because i welded and ground everything down and there isnt that much to "skim" over. but i guess ill go with the rage to be safe..

 

what do you guys mean by "epoxy" ?
