Just did this today, thought this would be nice to post up so please bare with me. Recently bought some 1.6i-VT rear tailights, EF3 'special edition' garnish & rear fog lights of ebay for $300 (tell me if that was a good deal) as you probably know the jdm/edm taillights are amber all around the corner, unlike are usdm taillights that are red/amber/red and they dont have anywhere to put the outer bulb to allow the corner portion to stay on

JDM/EDM

USDM

this bothered me so I decided to cut the holes in myself using a dremel tool (you can call me ghetto if you want) this way the amber part can stay on & still blink as well. Idk if theres a way you can wire to do this if there is someone please post a link lol

& Installed morning & night

They stay on & still blink, they look really nice compared to the usdm ones. Not sure if this is illegal too but nowadays everything is illegal on our honda's

or you could just go to a junk yard and pull out the bumper turn signal sockets and wire the positive to the running lights power and splice the ground in with the turn signal power and they will work that way too alot easier than drilling into your tail light housing and it looks more o.e and all you have to do i modify that one hole to fit the new socket, works the same way with sidemarkers power to running light power and ground to turn signal power

I wired my sidemarkers to the positive side of the turn signal corner as well as the negative to negative & it worked
