Default Question about wiring amp

Me and my friends got bored one day and decided to put in a PA system in my em2 just to have fun with on pedestrians and such
anyways, we're trying to make it louder since right now we have a 100 watt horn but it's just wired up to a CB radio for power and probably not even close to it's max potential.

Would we be able to just hook it up to an amp and make it louder?
also if so, how would we go about doing it, just wire the line going from the CB radio to the horn into the amp, and then the amp to the horn? sorry if it's a stupid question, never wired an audio system before except for just a head unit, but just wanna make sure it'll work...

my friend tried that on his amp he was already using, and apparently no sound came out of it though, so idk if there's something specific we're missing...

also would any cheap amp work? i'm thinking of just grabbing a cheap $55 one from walmart, since it would just be used for the PA system and we don't need anything hardcore for it to just have some fun with

you might want to look into a pa amp. check with pa shops, truck stops, webstores.
