Those of you with a y-49 EF (or wish to paint your y-49)
I have a Y-49 Crx and I was cleaning up some bolt rust and paint chips and found a great, durable and 95% color match paint from ACE hardware.
The paint is called ACE - Farmer & Implement, John Deere Yellow. Its been great for touch up jobs and chips and its under 5 bucks for a 15oz can.
Ive been taking off my rusted bolts, wire brushing them clean, then putting multi-coats and the bolts look like new. Be aware it takes the paint 3+ hours to dry so make sure you leave over night for best effect.
Im going to repaint my entire engine bay with it and give it a brand new look.
Check it out at your local ACE store. I bought 3 cans and you cant even tell the difference.
