Just as the title states, I'm looking to sell/trade my Plasma Blue '08 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
Mileage: ~3247 (might increase if I ride anymore this season)
Price: $6500 obo
Contact: TAMADRUMR88@yahoo.com as I don't really check messages on here
Condition:
The bike is in great condition and was well cared for. The bike is not "100% perfect"... it was meant to be ridden and it was ridden. By "ridden" I do not mean beat on, I mean that it has been in the rain (it happens, nothing I can do about it) and is probably about 95-98% condition cosmetically. The bike was always warmed up before being ridden and has also never been to a track day. It's had the oil changed every year even though it technically didn't need it. The chain has been cleaned/lubed/adjusted regularly, along with the clutch and throttle cables.
Info:
The bike was purchased as a leftover in '09, I bought the bike from the previous owner earlier this year (~1500miles, put almost 2k on since then) when I was living in FL at the time. Even though I currently have three motorcycles I'm in no rush to sell it because I have the space, and insurance isn't killing me so I'm not going to let the bike go for dirt cheap. When Throttle Jockey compared the Honda CBR600RR to the Kawi ZX-6R, they named the ZX-6R the "booty call" and the CBR the "girlfriend"
Having owned both bikes, they're both incredible machines, the ZX-6R just has a little more aggressive riding position and may not be as comfortable for riders who are used to, or are expecting it to ride like a Harley
Modifications:
** Two Bros Full SS Exhaust (shaved almost 20lbs off the bike's weight and sounds killer!)
** Two Bros EFI Juice Box
** K&N filter
** GPR v4 steering damper
** CRG adjustable levers
** Sportech GP windscreen
** Motion Pro Quick Throttle
** Matching OEM Kawi seat cowl to replace passenger seat
** frame sliders/rear spools
** removed passenger foot pegs (right side will not fit with aftermarket exhaust)
** relocated rear brake reservoir (hidden, cleans up tail of bike)
** removed all stickers
--> I also have a lot of stock parts to go with the bike
Additional info:
We all know these bikes are fast, but that's no excuse to drive like a moron. I've had four motorcycles already, so it wasn't treated like a prom date or a booty call. With that said, I will NOT allow test drives without cash in hand. If you're offering a trade, we'll work something out.
