i have a 1990 accord, with an h22a swap and a SH tranny. i just put a brand new clutch kit and flywheel in there, but it grinds when i push it into 3rd gear above 2k rpm. and when i try to downshift into 1st gear it grinds like no other...any tips? should i use the syncromesh stuff? another thing....the tranny makes some knocking sound sometimes shifing into first from a complete stop. i'm thinking the tranny is gone, but i dont have the money to get it replaced/rebuilt right now and am looking for a temporary fix at least...
