Default LONG time gone. But I still have the old toy

I has been a serious long time since I posted on HT.

I used to be here quite a bit, but sadly my project fell by the wayside as life marched on.

Anyway, I still have a motor, trans, and a LOT of parts that I have been wanting to sell off for a new kitchen... Sad indeed!

Now that I am thinking more and more about what remains I am feeling a bit of the bite again and my lovely wife is not opposed to the idea.

I would need a new chassis and it will NOT be a full race dream this go round, but more of a sleeper with a thirst for open track nights at E-Town, and Island.

I would need to get the car first and foremost, then take stock of what I have, SELL SELL SELL the stuff I can not use (maybe sell the race gear to buy the shell), and put it all together.

I am thinking Accord this time. A 94 coupe would be nice, or perhaps a "spartan" 86 LX-i.

Free 92 Civic HB chassis for anyone willing to come get it.

Any Old OLD School'ers still around??

Remember me??

Any new school dreamers want a free chassis?

Sorry, no pics.

The car, with motor and trans still mounted are under more than 5 years of dust in a car tent in PA.

DFI Gen 7 and rotor to run it are in my garage surrounded by junk... I could shoot a crapberry pic of that if you like...

I also have a set of wheelie bars in the basement if that is your thing. Drove to Kens Kustom to pick those up before I met my wife. They are for sale too, fully ready to be welded...

Is Mike Laskey Still around these parts?? I was friends with him and Earl (RIP) back in the day...

I was shocked and saddened when I heard that Earl had left us. He was so full of life!!

The car is nowhere near ready to go for those interested in the chassis. I have to pull the motor, trans, and some brake parts I am keeping. It is completely gutted, and has been cut in the front. It would take a LOT of work to put it on the street. I lost the title for it, but should be able to get a new one thru MVS.

When it is really ready to go I will let those that are interested know.

Hey Mike!!

Great to hear you are still around...

I still might just sell everything, that offer is not off the table. I need to get some stuff done on my house and the money would get things in good shape.

If I do put the motor in something I want to do it cheap, and keep a 100% stock appearance. An older accord keeps popping into my mind.

I probably won't do anything til spring if I do decide to put a car together. I am going in for surgery tomorrow and by the time I'm recovered it will be holiday season and I will be busy with life and work.
