Most of the WCF racers that are staying in hotels will be staying in our WCF Host Hotels in Waldorf, MD (which is about 20 mins from MIR right on Route 301).



Many racers and crew like to get together on Saturday night in Waldorf for dinner and drinks and hang out and socialize. The WCF event should be over around 7:30pm on Saturday so it leaves enough time for everyone to go out for dinner and drinks and hang out at a "WCF Saturday Night Afterparty".



Time gets set back 1 hour on Saturday night so everyone gets 1 more hour of sleep on Saturday night this year at WCF, so that is great too!



I spent tonight going to about 15 different restaurants in Waldorf, MD and spoke to managers of these restaurants. Many were very excited about the WCF event and were eager for racers to come to their restaurants. Some were a little snobby and acted as if they didnt want or need the business.



If I arrange 2-3 restaurants (that were eager for WCF racers to come to their business) close to each other in Waldorf, MD. How many of you would come to the "Afterparty"?



Post up if you would and how many may come with your group. So I can guage how many from this forum, along with all of the forums this event is being promoted on that would come to the places we choose for the Afterparty.



I am going to make up flyers to have at the WCF event and hand them out on Saturday with directions and hours of the restaurants we pick. If we concentrate alot of the WCF racers at a few restaurants it will be alot of fun and people can talk racing, would be alot of fun!

 

So post up how many in your group would attend the WCF Saturday Night Afterparty in Waldorf, MD?

Hooters is cool but they can only handle 120 people. They were very welcoming for WCF racers.



Hard Tmes Cafe in Waldorf, MD can handle 350 people and they serve food till 1am. Lots of parking too. They have a HUGE bar in the middle of the restaurant and have 12 pool tables and Giant TV screens everywhere. They were very welcoming too and wanted WCF racers to come there.
