What kind of suspension!!!
I got a 94 eg coupe i want to lower it....what should i go with. Coils or lowering springs....i dont it slammed to the ground or anything i just want a clean look... trying to spend around 150....let me know....
thanks
thanks
check local craiglist with that budget I guess u can only afford used eibach ,koni, tein or some other good springs. u can install them on your oem struts which i dont recommend so save your money for blue tokicos..
As long as the spring rates are low a stock shock should be ok for a while. Many people have had good experience with tein lowering springs on stock shocks for years.
Besides, Blues are noithing more than a oem replacement. He might as well save his money and run his oem shocks.

Unless you spend more than 150, you're going to have nothing but problems. Hell the alignment costs half that, and don't even think of not having that done unless you want your tires torn to shreds in less than a year.

Same with using lowering springs. you'll regret it later on once you realise your car isnt low at all.
When doing suspension work, AT LEAST go with a set of FULL coilovers and front & rear LCA's.
Just my .02
I know its your opinon but front and rear lca's do absolutly noithing besides add bling. They do noithing for performance.
Also, front lower control arms tend to be very expensive, and hard to find.

Aftermarket LCA's really don't do anything for you, unless you need rear LCA's with swaybar provisions because your stock ones have none, and you can get them cheaper than OEM. And front aftermarket LCA's, that's just a complete waste of money period.
thats what i did on my EG before i got rid of it, regretted those egay coils since the day i put them on, got a new car actually gunna spend money on proper suspension this time
GC is the ONLY slip-on coilover I would ever recommend to anyone.

I've had my Megan LCA's now for 3 years. No regrets here. I don't think you would see alot of vendors on here that would consider them in the "regret it later category"
Of corse they wouldn't, they want you to buy them.
However look at blox. My friend didn't have them for a month and the bushings were shot, skunk2 is alot not out of the woods here either. Their older style bushings, sucked.
However they still cost much more then the ebay LCA's that everyone and there brother swares agasint.
Im not trying to argue, but the facts are cheep lower control arms have cheep bushings that fail.......

I think alot of good products do get over looked as bad parts when really it's just the "best bang for the buck" kinda deal.
