Most of you know how to do this but for those that dont know how to Polish Rims, I bought some beat up LS meshies about a week ago and i decided to Polish them myself im starting with a 3M WETORDRY 220 to take of Clear Coat followed by these grit sizes 320,400,1000,2000(i gave the mesh 2000 twice for SHINE,2000 must be wet sanded). After your done with the 2000 give it some RUBBING COMPOUND and your rims will shine to a mirror finish. So far one of them has come along nicely hope to finish the other 3 before the end of the week. More Pics will be added soon(Pics of finished Meshies will be added when i am done with all 4)

Can notice the Beat up Clear Coat very Well in this pic

I might look into doing this. I just bought a set of LS Meshies this past Friday night for $335 and they came with 195/55-15 Dunlops. I feel like I got a smokin deal!

and as for the price i got them for 230 with 3 bald Nankang tires and 1 good Khumo lol!!

That sucks.. just take your time on them trust me. I spent like 4 hours on each wheel I think, they were black when I started. Got down to 2k grit and used Mothers mag and alum polish.

 

hahahah 4 hours it has taken me almost 2 weeks including weekends(more than 8 hours each) to finish 3 rims haahahah its worth it though rims are looking good

 

i so wish i had the patience to do something like this. looks good

 

I just got my bro to polish mine the whole rim is polished not just the face .
