01 Accord both front wheel is not straight when steering wheel is straight*HELP*
Ok. Here what happened. My friend hitted the curb while falling asleep behind the wheel. Now the the car wont move normally. I reversed the car and it barely moved and the front wheels do not steer correctly. When I turned the steering wheel clockwise, the passenger wheel turned but the driver side stayed straight and vice versa. The driver front tire was so bad( half of the inner thread was completely gone) that I had to get it replaced. I checked the axles and they are both fine. I was thinking bend arms, lower control arms, upper control arms.
Please any thoughts or ideas. Let me know.
Thanks

He could have bent a number of parts by hitting the curb. The lower control arm will often bend with an impact like that, and it's possible to bend the upper control arm, tie rods (inner and outer), and sometimes even the steering knuckle as well. Hopefully the subframe and steering rack are okay, but you won't know until you can get a good look underneath.
You should have it checked out by someone who knows what they are looking at. If necessary, you can buy a complete used driver- or passenger-side front suspension assembly from a salvage yard and replace all of the parts if they seem questionable. Don't forget to have a 4-wheel alignment done afterwards.
