Default Bought Mugen h22a header and MUGEN exaust need help for CATALIC !!!!

I have a 96EK undergoing an HCP JDM H22a Swap, and i recently picked up a GENUINE MUGEN JASMA HEADER AND MUGEN EXAUST, but the thing I didn't get the catback with the exaust, only the Axle back, both are mint !! but no axel back, since mugen uses a Resonator, and I Beleive STOCK H22a cat, what are my best options???

build a custom 2.5 inch exaust with mandrels front to back and no cat no resonator or would that be too noisy ???? would i loose to much torque or hp ????

Build a custom 2.5 inch exaust with mandrels bends with a cat installed, and swapable test pipe with a resonator .?????

the muffler is the same on

http://www.kingmotorsports.com twin loop.

i'm just concerned about not loosing power or torque though the construction and modifications i ahve to make on my car since it's a hatchback .....

exaust will be tig welded stainless steel. piping elbows and also welds....

opinions ... i paid about 1000$ canadian for both means 600US , is that not bad ???

is MUGEN really that good or just hipe ??

I'm in the same boat as you..h22 Civic swap.

I just bought a Jun H22 header. Really nice piece!

it's got a 2.5" collector.

Here's what I'm doing... (all of the mods to the exhaust done AFTER the header, in case at any point I want to sell it or anything)

2.5" high flow cat right after the header....and then a resonator...and then right after that is the first bend in the piping. It's a tight fit, but it'll all fit. i don't have it done yet, but it's gonna fit...i know it will

I don't know about you, but I have to be able to pass emissions, and I can't stand non-resonated cars..way too buzzy and annoying.

You have to pick what you want to modify in the exhaust system..the header or the cat back. I'm getting 2.5" mandrel bent piping and cutting it to fit accordingly after the cat.

To get H22A hooked up with a civic, I would just leave it to the pro's and not worry about it. It's not worth the $40 to spend on just having it professionally done unless you have the proper tools, etc.

I have my own Miller Tig welder for stainless I can do the piping myself, it's not that it's just i don't have specs for the piping that mugen used... nor it's resonator, unless i build one and pack it with fiber.....

i wanna make sure if i use piping 1/8 bigger that i won't loose power because of the mugen tuned muffler for 2 3/8 piping....

our cars don't have to pass emmission in canada, so i don't have to worry about that .. meaning no cat, no resonator..

is the mugen exaust quite compared to stock or a bit noisy ?
