Heya, just wondering if anyone has actually measured the change in lap times with a wing (not rice-wing, proper one!)? And what wings have made most difference.

Personally I think the car has just a bit of oversteer in the fast corners (on top of the lift-off o/s), but it doesn't really bother me. But I have heard that it can wipe off seconds ... which I am doubting.

i dont know if we have oficial lap times, but someone did back to back to back runs with no wing, stock, and Mugen and they said that the Mugen felt the most stable with the stock next and no wing next.

Its not going to make a difference if you cant drive it though...

 

You'd have to be near or on the ragged edge for it to make a difference in lap times.

 

That's what I thought.... It may make some difference on a fast track (like Phillip Island) ... but it would be minimal I guess.
