For Trade: 1995 Civic Hatchback with front end convesion/Z6 swap.
Looking to trade for a Semi-stock EF Si, or an EG Si.
Well I am posting this car for my mother. Yes it’s my MOM's car. She has owned the car for about two years now and she has decided that it just isn’t for her. It is her daily driver and starts 100% of the time even in the coldest of days. No leaking of any fluids and no burning oil. This car is well maintained not beat on; the motor was swapped by a performance shop in Madison it was done professionally. The sad part of this car was it was involved in a minor accident. My mom avoided hitting a deer and sideswiped a mailbox. On the drivers side of the car right after the quarter panel near the hatch glass the car is dented in a bit. Also when avoiding the deer the front end hit a snow bank slightly knocking the front bumper/lip loose and chipping the paint on the passenger side where the bumper and fender attach.
Here is some basic information on the car.
Originally a 1995 Honda civic DX hatchback- clean title
Has a full 2000 civic SI front end conversion (only exterior, not motor)
155, xxx miles on the body, less mileage on motor and transmission
D16Z6 SOHC VTEC motor swap
Honda civic DX transmission
It has a 4-2-1 header, 98% stock otherwise
New OEM cat back exhaust (very quiet)
KYB AGX Shocks
Lowered on lowering springs about 2 inches, the car has a good stance
GSR Phat 5 wheels
New front brakes
New drums
SI front lip
Quarter panels are 99% rust free!!
The downsides...
Minor body damage after quarter panel on the drivers side near the hatch glass.
Paint chipped off on one part of the passenger side front end
Someone at my moms work was hating on her Honda and keyed a 2 inch scratch on the hood
The open hatch light is on It gets weird in the winter it goes away in summer
There is the slightest amount of corrosion starting to form on the 1/4 panels, I would really like to see the car be in someones hands who wont drive it through another winter, this car car has potential to be very different.
Bottom line…
This is a very good looking Honda Civic (even with the damage) it is very different from the average everyday Civic hatchback. It runs perfect with no engine or transmission problems whatsoever. It makes a great daily it just needs a little body work. It is a great car but it just isn’t for my mom(she is 50 now, and needs a car with power steering and she would like a sunroof), if I had the cash I would buy it fix it and have a one of a kind, and one of the cleanest hatches in the state.

As for the CRX however.... She doesnt really want a two seater, but I will talk with her and see if I can change her mind. Does the car have power steering?
