hey guys/gals,

new to the forum here and have done some searching and cant seem to find a specific thread on this for 2011' accords but i got an ex and wanted to upgrade to gps, backup camera and dvd playback... anyone install the Rosen HD0830-H11 honda gps factory replacement?

looks pretty good for an aftermarket stereo/gps.. and i especially like the information "center" towards the shifter... i wonder if it will actually show a digital read out of the temp from the heat/ac controls?

Well, I've had plenty of experience with rosen, and never a single complaint (I've been installing for a paycheck for 10+ years. I've never installed that particular unit, but for the price, ure getting a ton of features... Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, 3d view nav, a/v in/outs, dual zone video selection... It seems like a can't miss for the price. Very impressive, and rosen is high quality, and the crutchfield guys are rosen dealers, and provide great customer service. I don't think u could go wrong with it. I can't confirm your temp readouts or anything like that, but to be honest with u, in over ten years in the business, I'm quite impressed. If you were anywhere near Atlanta, I'd install it for u for free, seriously, just so I could make my own review on the unit. If u get it, please let us know what u think abt it. If I owned the vehicle, I'd be on it like a white tee on a thug...

I looked a little closer at the pic on crutchfield's site, and it does show drivers and passengers temp on the display below the a/c controls.

 

joey i wish i lived closer LOL i would have you install it lol!

this place by me that installed my remote start security system quoted a price of $2000 to install the system along with the reverse backup camera. u think thats worth it? i bet i can knock $200 off the price so maybe 1800 total...?

 

Wow... Did that $2k include the rosen unit itself? Or was that just parts and labor? Seems a little on the high side to me...

 

i would recommend you find out what the labor alone would run you.
