Of course with my luck the track was not running the timing equipment tonight. It was stormy around the area and they don't run the equipment due to lightning. We still got to run but it was grudge match style. I was ticked because I worked all night to get my car on the road again. All was not lost however because I had a few interesting races with a mild bolt on LS1.

1st race: I get a good jump off the line. Hit second and I creeped ahead some more. Held the lead to the end of the track.

2nd run: Another good launch. He came off beside me and we were neck and neck. I hit second and pulled a nose on him. 3rd gear he started to pull by me and once I hit 4th he had put about 1-1.5 cars on me.

3rd race. Almost the exact same as the 2nd race.

We talked a bit. He said he runs pretty consistent 13.3-13.4's around the 105mph range. Can't say anything because of the timing equipment but he said I'm definitely a 13 second car. I'm not going to say anything until I had a slip in my hand ,but it was nice to know I was running against a pretty strong car. Hopefully I can get some times this monday.
