I’m the original owner of this car, I purchased it brand new from Kearny Mesa Acura in November 2005. The car has been very well taken care of, all services have been done at the dealership. Everything on the car is stock and I’ve never installed any aftermarket parts. I’ve never had any mechanical problems.
The engine, transmission and suspension on this car are very good. I fell in love with the car after I test-drove it. I’m a fairly calm driver and I really didn’t drive it as much; 56k for a 2006 is pretty good. For daily driving the engine is very smooth and saves big on gas, if you need a little more power all you need to do is go past 6,000 rpms and the car just goes! The shifting on this transmission is excellent, no slop what so ever, has to be one of my favorite things about the car. The suspension is nice and sporty but not so much that it makes the ride uncomfortable, its just right.
The interior is perfect, I never had food or drinks in the car, carpet is perfect nothing was ever spilled on the mats or carpet. Only problem with the interior is the shift boot, it has a very small crack/peel, I’m guessing its from sun exposure. Also theres a very small crack on the left door card from when the window tint guy removed it.
Wheels are in good shape only a couple tiny random nicks. The tires need to be replaced soon and one of them is a different brand than the rest as a result of a flat tire I had.
Cosmetic defects / Recent touch up:
There were a couple dings and scratches from regular use so I had most of them repaired. The front bumper needed to get repainted due to scratches and a crack, the hood had a small ding the size of a pea so that got repaired and repainted. The right door had some scratches so that got repainted. The rear bumper had some small nicks from parking on the streets so that got a touch up as well. Also theres a very small rock chip on the windshield.
