i was wondering if someone on here could tell me how hard it is to change an a/c compressor on this engine. i am buying one tomorrow for 1100 and the old comp froze and belt shredded.

 

You have 2 lines that go to the compressor and there are 4 long bolts that hold the compressor on you may need to lower the engine cradle or jack the engine a little bit or may need to remove the alternator and get it out from the top . Make sure you recover the system first .

 

thanks i got an e vac machine i can use for that just didnt know if it was going to be like a 6 hour job or not
