Default d16 new PB 10.74

Well this whole season i had lots of problems with the car and had to use stock sleeves d16z6 with vitara pistons. we had my 42r break back in july when it sucked the screen into the turbo. took some time to look throught every log i had from the season and came to the conclusion something was wrong with my distributor. well i took it apart and the tdc piece on the shaft was loose and moving around and the end that goes in the cam the pin was almost worn away. so put a new one on and put a small fram T04B 60trim on the car.
went 10.74 @ 134.69 and backed it up with a 10.92 @ 133.07

This was also at 4800ft

Congrats on your pb. Can you give us more of a breakdown of this setup. Headwork, cam etc? How many lbs of boost?

Ya at this altitude is very hard to run good times. Boost levels was around 30-34psi. traction was not my friend though on 2 year old slicks

the engine
d16z6
stock sleeves
59500 cam
port matched head
KMS springs/retainers
vitara pistons
eagle rods
custom intake manifold w/90mm throttle body
air/water intercooler 3" on hot side 4" on cold side
hondata S300
NO wastegate

^That's insane! Launching at 30psi! I have never even heard of anyone ditching the wastegate and just maxxing the turbo out...
