Tigra finally in the 9's!
What a weekend! We made it down to Santa Pod late yesterday, car went 10.01 @ 139 off the trailer (backed off as lost traction) - then just before 7pm last night finally did the big one - 9.86 @ 148mph! Officially the UK's fastest FWD car - and to my knowledge by far the fastest road legal FWD car in Europe

Exactly. The Tigra's still more impressive anyhow!! lol.
First off, Congrats to you Little-Al!!! Great achievement and a 9 second pass is quite the milestone. Now that you have the fastest FWD street car record here in the UK, I'm VERY tempted to put something together and come play with you boys. I'm an American and work on RAF Mildenhall.... have been in the Honda/Turbo fwd scene for quite some time. I just moved out here 18 months ago and have started to acquire some parts. Santa Pod is only like an hour away from me so, you'll have to let me know the next time you all are out and I'll come check out the car and your passes. Glad to see a FWD over here putting down with a simple setup and BIG mph. Love it!! Ya'l take care, best of luck and hope to see ya soon.

Just so I don't take any credit here, I am the crew man for the Tigra, Andy Specky (Specky) is the owner/driver... in his words: "you type better than me" LOL. Hence its always my name on the posts
That said, i;ve put a fair old amount of effort in at all the events we do so I guess I am allowed to be a bit proud :p
We would be more than glad to see you at Pod, the next main outing is The Fast Show in March - HKS Series and ESC will be running so you'll see us guys and some of the Honda boys with any luck, should be a good event if they get the track right this year (a lot of big crashes last year
).
