Default Rear engine mount - B18C1 into 93 CX

1995 GSR B18C1 going into 93 Civic CX hatch...

Ok. Got the motor in. All mounts line up great, and all are on... Except for the rear mount. I'm using the GSR mounts all around...

Any tricks or clues to get the thing to go in? I have the engine very loose in the bay, so I can rock it back and forth, but I can't get it wedged in there.

Or, do I need a different rear mount?

Is it ok to drive with the mount out for a day or two, taking it easy?

Please help! Need to get it done this weekend!

Thanks!

which rear engine mount BRACKET are you using? You re-use the stock civic rear mount (rubber on the frame) but you NEED to use the **engine mount bracket** off a '94-01 'teg or '94-97 Del Sol VTEC.

do NOT drive w/o the rear mount. It supports the majority of the engine movement when you drive!

I'm using the GSR bracket that came with the swap...

Never mind, guys...

I dropped the trans mount and turned the engine a little sideways, and it went right in...

Thanks!
