I'm in the process of selling my EK. I have VERY nice DC2 seats in there that I would like to keep. I can get two oem EK seats for like 40 bucks so it's worth the time to pull them out IMO.

But that looks retarded and WAY too much work. My OEM SI seats are in okay shape, so I'd hate to tear those apart anyways. After a bit of searching, I read about people either redrilling and taping holes, or swapping out the seat pans. I'm just looking for input from people who have done so already. Is there a way to use the DC seats on EF rails?

 

1. this is the ef & crx section of honda-tech and youll want to go to the 1992-2000 civic section

2. you dont have to swap out rails or seat pans if youre dealing with a ek and integra seat going into your ek.

 

I'm wanting to swap these into my CRX... which is why I posted this in the EF section.

 

Any input? I'll be throwing stock seats back in my Civic and will be anxious to attempt to swap in my DC2s in the CRX. I LOVE DC2 seats hands down most comfortable Honda seats I've owned.

Yeah, that's the same how-to that I posted originally. Would rather not go that route because I'd hate to trash these seats. Plus my SI seats are in decent shape and I'd hate to ruin those. I'd have to buy some torn up EF seats to do so.
