Default FS or WTT: modded 97' VW Golf

Looking for serious cash offers or trades for an s10 or chevy 1500 truck. Must be short bed and single cab.

I'm not really sure if I want to get rid of it yet, but I really need a truck to haul around my quad. I'm not in any hurry to get rid of it, because it's a perfectly reliable daily driver.

I've done A LOT of maintenance on this car since I bought it and fixed some of the small annoying problems with it. I know I wont be able to remember everything I've done to it, but most of the mods are visible in the pics.

mileage is 110k'ish. I'll have to check the old cluster to be exact.

Maintenance-

oil has always been changed every 3-4k with castrol 5w40 synthetic and an OEM VW filter.
timing belt/water pump (metal impeller), alt belt and thermostat were changed less than 5k ago.
valve cover gasket was changed less than 500 miles ago.
oil cooler seal was changed about 6k ago.
new shift lever, base rebuild kit, shift linkage bits (not installed)
alignment was done about a month and a half ago. toe was set to factory spec.
ball joints were replaced about 3 months ago.
new tie rod ends (not installed)
new rotors and mintex red box pads changed about 3 months ago.
rear brake shoes and hardware kits were changed at the same time as the fronts.
wheel bearings replaced at all 4 corners about 4 months ago.

Goodies-

15x8 et12 white Diamond Racing steelies
OEM Corrado center caps
195/45 Nexen N3000 tires - will need replaced in a few months. I will be buying some if it doesn't go fast
rolled/pulled fenders
2ish month old Rokkor coilovers
new DJ Auto ecodes w/ plug-n-play harnesses
GTi taillights
eBay smoked sidemarkers
sidemarkers wired into the turn signals
stock GL cluster with orange wolfsburg needles
custom made Lathe Werks white copolymer shift ****
stock replica grill to replace broken stocker
gutted stock catalytic converter
new oem hood
raceland header
euro upper glove box
new pioneer DEH3200UB cd player relocated to upper glove box
oem VW radio block off plate

the bad -

sunroof doesn't work - frame is broken
A/C needs evacuated and recharged
needs new license plate holder
power locks don't work (never even looked into it, may be something simple)

This is the most recent picture. It was taken at Import Face Off in Tulsa, OK.

I can/will get more pics upon request. Text me with any questions/comments...easiest way to get in touch with me.
479-787-0080.

As per the forum rules, I am looking for $3000 or a trade. Clean title in hand.
