Default Do I need shorter/lowering springs with Bilstein Sport?

I recently received my order of Bilstein Sport for my 1999 Civic.

After doing some reading, it seems that the Sport version of the Bilstein shocks are about an inch shorter than the HD version. Do I need to purchase new springs to properly accomodate the new shocks, or will they be just fine on stock springs? I really don't want to lower the car if possible, the roads I live around and travel on, aren't exactly perfect and it's rough enough as it is without the car being lower.

In case I "must" need a shorter/lower spring, does the ITR springs fit a 1999 Civic Si without any modification? If so, are the ITR springs shorter than 1999 Civic Si springs?

I've been out of the loop around here for a while, and I've forgotten a lot of information, any help with this is greatly appreciated

ITR springs wont fit your 1999 Si. CTR springs however will.

Thanks for the advice, lesson learned.

Are CTR springs slightly lower than stock SI springs?

Height I'm not sure of. but the Spring rates a significantly better than Civic Ex/dx/lx/cx.

Might not be much of an upgrade from si springs.

There's a factory springrate list stickied at the top of the suspension forum.

Yes, CTR springs are shorter then regular springs, not to mention different spring rates as already said. The springs will lower it 1 inch, but some say .75"
When i had them on my car, it was 1"

After looking reall quick, i found CTR springs are 240lb front and rear, and are linear front, progressive rear
And the Si is 201lb front, and 100lb in rear. And both are progressive.

The stock springs will work, however the spring rates are a bit soft.

Yes you can use your stock springs. With the bilsteins your car will have less droop travel but will have more compression travel.
