Default Airbox assy question

Good morning guys, Recently purchased an airbox assy for my stock 98 CR-V.I remover the CAI that someone had put on it....anyway,the Filterbox assy fits fine, but the formed hose from that box is too short, and isnt curved properly to fit onto the intake plenum.I am thinking that the "donor" CR-V was a 99.
Is there any difference in the ducting? or am I just missing a part of the assy>

I have the correct airbox, but the duct is for a 99,I need one for the 98...anyone got any ideas where I can get one? There are virtually no salvage yards here with CRV,s,and I dont want to have to go to the dealer.
The salvage yard I got this setup off was on-line,and after repeated inquiries,Im getting no response.

Jeezzzz of all the PicknPulls in the states and Canada there is only one (1) 98 CRV and it's in Fort Worth Texas://www.picknpull.com/check_inventory.aspx?Address=v1x3h3&Lat=49.8945176 &Lng=-119.3902237&Make=Honda&Model=CR-V&Distance=25000

That would be a long road trip, I would maybe try at CRV here on H/T or possible find someone in Fort Worth willing to go to PnP and pull the part and send it, maybe swap it for the CAI.
Good luck. 94

Yeah I hear you.I wonder if anyone on this site is considering a CAI for their 98...hmmm BUT being a "newbie" here I doubt if id get any results.Actually, though I think some of the Honda CARS have the same intake setup...would be interesting what models/years they are..might be more "available" or
perhaps I may find some "aftermarket flex duct",and make my own....Thanks!
