Fender Flares
I want to put some Fender flares on my 2000 Accord but i am worried about it cracking between the fiberglass and the metal after a will. Does anyone have flares and know if there is a fix for the cracking? or will it crack
If you dont want them to crack having a professional make them out of metal and weld them to your car is the best way to go. But if you have good fender flares with a good attachment points you can rivet it to the car and then use fiber glass like everglass 100-62 short hair. good amount of body work required for this approach, well really both will involve a lot for body work and obviously repainting of the panels. Ive done this plenty of times with no issues or cracking unless someone hit it in an accident or something of the sort.
i Bought some flares from Extreme Dimensions and was planing on using those. I am not sure of the approach i will take to get them on thats why i am asking so i can avoid cracking. I am installing a body kit and all so the whole car will be re-painted. I was thinking of custom metal flares/
