Default Weird problem with my 94 EX

I've had this odd problem with my 94 Accord EX 4AT for probably 2 years now. It hasn't prevent me from driving, and I don't really want to dump a lot of money into this thing, but here goes.

Randomly when I'm driving, the engine power cuts out, and it almost feels like I'm running out of gas. I can usually stomp the gas pedal, and it will rev up and go, but sometimes when I let off the gas, the engine just dogs out again. Sometimes (if I'm not in traffic) I'll just press the accelerator about half way, and the engine slowly revs up, until it almost "clicks" and runs normal again. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to it, I thought that I had something in my gas tank and only noticed it when I was low on gas, but I have noticed it with a full or half-full tank also. Sometimes I'll go a couple days and not have it happen at all, sometimes it will happen once or twice on my 2 mile commute to work.

I've gotten advice from a few people, one guy told me I could have a blocked cat, which I don't really want to pay to replace. I've tried most other easy fixes I can: I've changed the oil (a couple times obviously, changed the fuel filter, run a couple cans/bottles of fuel system cleaner, cleaned the throttle body).

If anyone else can give me any other advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, if anyone knows of any good/cheap shops that service Honda's in Northeast PA (Scranton area), that would be awesome.
