No.

(if you want a good response, ask a good question... your mom lied to you, there are such things as bad questions)

How is the cam timing?
Is your battery up to charge?
Is your starter motor sound like it's struggling?
Have you put the dizzy in at the correct timing?

Okay, little better. A motor needs three(3) things to run: Compression, Spark, and Fuel. Easiest things to check first are spark and fuel.

Fuel: Loosen the "bleed"? bolt on top of your fuel filter. Turn the key to the ON position. Should see fuel coming from around that bolt.

Spark: Pull a plug wire and put a screwdriver into it. Have a friend crank the motor while you hold the screwdriver about 1/8" away from the top of the spark plug tube. Should see a healthy blue spark.

Compression: If you don't have a compression tester, take your car down to Autozone and use their loaner. Compression should be consistent (within +- 5) across all 4 cylinders, regardless of the numbers you get.

Check those and let us know what you find.

did the car run rough befor you replaced the distributor or was it simply giving you problems with starting ? was it a new distributor or a used one ? if it is used check the cap for corrosion . Also be sure that the firing order is correct or it will not start. wrong firing order will not cause spark problems, but it can be easy to mess up .

Did you grab a manual (or at least the specs) to test the parts? Do that before you just run out and buy another complete dizzy.

nah i went and got a spark tester and put it in a plug wire and and clipped it to a ground and turned the key and i didnt see a spark at the end... next ima get a test light and take the dizzy cap off and check its internals.... dont think it can be the wires cuz they are new.. but anything is possible
