Few ? about h2b swap from ls
Im swapping my h22a1 in my eg in a few weeks. Just finishing up building the motor.
Had a few qustions before i yank my ls motor out.
1. Do i need to use the h22 throttle cable or can i reuse my ls ?
2. The intake manifold did not come with a fuel rail, can i reuse my fuel rail with injectors and fpr from my ls?
3. Im ordering the qsd kit, i have 2 ebay "aftermarket" mounts on on the engine and rear of the trans and a hasport mount for the the other tranny mount...Will the kit work with these or do i need all hasport b mounts?
Thanks guys!

1. not sure you might have to make a bracket to make it fit.
2. no, you'll need to go to the junk yard and look for any f22 fuel rail so your fuel lines will be on the right side
3.they might work, depends on if the mounts are junk or not.

mounts are good, the engine doesnt do much rocking. I just didnt know if hasport mounts were definitely necessary
do i need a f22 fuel rail or can i just get a h22?
will a h22 throttle cable work in me eg? im more worried about lenght

f22 fuel rail has the fuel input on the passenger side like B series rails do, they are alot easier to find because honda put f22's in almost every accord and prelude.
idk about the throttle cable it isn't rocket science, not trying to be a dick but figure it out for your self. im running a stock d15b2 throttle cable.

Looks like you're going to need some h22 injectors ( peak and hold) and f22 or h22 fuel rail in conjunction with either f22 or h22 FPR . I thought you needed h2b mounts in order for the hood to close?? The throttle cable should work just fine, I used my civic throttle cable on my h-swap so I would assume your's would work as well.
cant you use the same injectors in a b series in a h series? im not really worried about the hood closing as much as im woried about getting everything i need to get it swapped in properly

I would strongly advise you to run the correct injectors. It should be relatively easy to obtain some OBD1 h22 injectors (with the resistor box) through a junk yard or even someone here on H-T. One thing about the mounts you might want to keep in mind is; you cannot have the engine sitting in such a way where you create stress on the CV joints by the engine being at a bad angle. For example, the passenger side axle might sit lower or higher than the driver side and that would not be a good thing. Also, you want your oil pan to be leveled so the pick up is not being starved when you are cornering. You WILL need to get the proper mounts soon or later if you want this thing running.
:edit: The QSD kit should contain everything you need ( as far as mounts are concerned) in order to get that engine in your car.

Yes the QSD kit will work with your b-series mounts ( they dont have to be Hasport). You'll need to pick up a DC rear bracket that goes to the back of the transmission but I'm guessing you already have that. The kit is designed to work with B-series mounts, flywheel/clutch assembly and shift linkage from what I know. You can always check their website if you have any other concerns......... http://www.quartersportsdrag.com/
Would i already have this because of the b series in my eg needed this?
Yes, and by your response I'm guessing you did not do the LS swap yourself? Not that it matters but it does help to know what you already have. Either way, you'll be able to get the right information here on H-T.
