When you say "My heat doesnt work at all...." what does that mean? Does the blower motor work, it just blow cold air, or does it not blow any air?

Why do you want to rip out the dash and replace the heater core?

Assuming the blow motor works, the thermostat could be stuck open which would not allow the coolant to heat up enough to generate in cabin heat. Another item to check is the heater valve cable. When you move the temp control slide, it should open or close the valve to allow coolant to flow through the heater core. If it became disconnected at the climate controls or in the engine bay(where the valve is located) it wont open it. Have some one move the slide in the car, and you look in the engine bay to see if it is moving. Its located near the firewall, there are 2 heater hoses that pass through the firewall, it is connected to one of those. I want to say it is below and to the right of the fuel filter.

The ripping out the dash I just assumed maybe the heater core was bad, it blows, just constantly cold... The valve under the hood... Me and my buddy switched it both ways and didn't make a difference... So I guess my opÞion is the thermostat

Thanks ill try it and let you know
