My driver side headlight is aiming a little high. I located the adjuster but do not know which way to turn to lower it. I tried both ways, but no matter which way I turn, the beam seems to be going higher and higher. Does anybody know definitively which way I'm suppose to turn it to lower it? Thank you guys in advance.

And yes I read the owners manual and searched before I posted this thread. Neither of which tells me which way I'm suppose to turn it.

 

Nobody up at this hour? Guess my adjustments will have to wait till tomorrow!

 

Pretty sure counter clockwise lowers them, your gonna have to do this at night close to a wall and it's gonna take a bit of turning before you notice they've moved at all.

 

are you adjusting the top or bottom adjuster?

top one affects side to side movement more than up/down in the bb6 headlights.

bottom one is the one that adjusts height

 

Uuummmm, the one where I look straight down into. I only managed to locate one of them.

When you say counterclockwise, do you mean the gear or the Phillips should be turning the way?

 

Well first of all you never even said which gen Prelude you have, and second the USDM and JDM 4th gen headlights are different in the way which they adjust.

just the stock usdm

 

looking at the helms, the vertical adjuster is on the top right by the fender. I couldn't figure out how to just copy and paste from the online manual, so here's an attachment:
