Default Tryed searching if a k20z1 crankshaft will fit in a k20a2 block

long story short. my friend blow his 02 type s
took to machine shop.
needs a crank and oversize the pistons.
possible weld and grind the crank, but its not guarentee that
it will last.

found a k20z1 crankshaft in mint condition and cant find
any info if its a direct fit on the k20a2 block.
any help will be appreciated.

may want to measure bearing size again thou or you can check the sub-block that the crank came out of to see what bearings were used originally...either way i would still measure and get new bearings

yea im going to get all new bearings and rings
heres a picture of the one im trying to buy.
but i just notice something. are the gears pressed in on the
k20z1 crank?
my a2 crank may look diff. cant see it since its at the machine shop.

no he just happens to have the chain gears and the cam sensor plate and bolt on it.. they all slide off when the bolts not in the way

u can get oem oversized pistons from oemacuraparts.com
