Don't put those pos's on the koni's

They will not work correctly with the shock, as they will not sit on the cir clip on the shock.
Just wait untill you can get the koni's.

Order a set of ground controls and do it right the first time. Dont waste a premium shock on junk parts.

The Koni shock body is 1 and 5/8 inches in diameter (approx). You need a skinny sleeved coilover sleeve that is machined to fit the Koni yellow c-clip. You can't use the regular sized coilover sleeve. You can...by putting the sleeve on the metal spring collar that is provided with the konis...but...idk how safe it would be.

DONT USE THEM. they are inexpensive for a reason!
I have generic coilover sleeves and they suck! one of them my spring catches on the edge of the coilover tube and pops LOUD. just get some nice lowering springs.
Not to mention the sleeves make my ride bumpy as hell
Springs/Shocks FTW!
coilovers FTL!

whats wrong with sitting the sleeve on the perch? You can stick regular springs on the perch, right? I did that with the regular Ground Control shocks and used them for about a year before I took my car off the road to work on it. No problems at all.

That's becuase you have junk coilovers, if you were to buy quailty coilovers and shocks your ride wouldn't be bouncy

how do koni/gc compare with tein ss? my buddy has a rhd ek hatch SiR replica with tein ss. i guess it used to be a track car but the ride is sooo stiff. feel everything on the road. i think we adjusted the dampers right but not sure.
