Default The Tigra has now gone 10.04 @ 143!

Meant to post this up a few days ago, following the 10.1 we went to the UK's best track to try and go faster. It was a general Run What You Brung day so the track prep wasn't great and loads of cars had dropped oil/water through the course of the day. Air temp was about 7-8 degrees!

Apologies for the poor video quality - our mate filmed it on his phone from near the finish line - the sound is incredible though!!

We are back down there this weekend on what will hopefully be a much better track (there is a big event on Saturday night with a lot of the 'big' cars running so prep should be good). Hopefully the next post I make will be 'Tigra has done a 9.xxx'

Yeah Opel/Vauxhall!

It is a 2 litre engine, steel bottom end, piper cams, solid lifters, head work, inlet and exhaust manifolds, GT35, precision injectors etc etc. Currently 604bhp and 495 lb/ft at the fly.
Will write up a full spec properly at some point!

Great run,

I was at POD and noticed the car in the fire up lane, I only managed 2 runs myself, did see spec’s 2nd run and it didn’t look pretty, track was horrible after all the clean ups.
I left just before spec’s last run (10.0) but ANR called me later to tell me about the run, that’s impressive and sure he'll nail a 9 at some point.
If his car meets NHRA spec then he should tag along on one of the pro days, track prep is 50% better so the times will tumble.

Eddie

We did a Friday Test & Tune last year where it did the 10.74 on MT ET Streets - track was crazy!

He wants to go fastest on a normal RWYB day though
