hi boys i have a 97 Honda that i love dearly..The other day i was driving it and it quit going it felt like i had it in nuetral.I had my friend change the oil in the transmission and its still does the same .I can turn it off for a few seconds and it go for a couple blocks.On cold mournings it does better it even goes up to 60 or more it just starts shifting funny after a few minutes then quits.What do you think boys is it time to let her go???oh yea its an automatic??

 

There is a prob with your trans, you might want to take your car to a trans shop and have them look at that.

 

I don't fool around with automatics, but based on the few times I have, it probably has a valve that needs to be replaced. Get in touch with Synchrotech. Their sister company does the reman auto's for Honda so they will know more than me.
