Default Tranny Swap!!!!

So i have decided that I want to swap out my failing 94ex a/t for a 5 speed. But I definitely don't have the technical know how to do this myself. I'll be in San Diego/Los Angeles for the next 9 months (school). Anyone here want to help me or refer me to a person/shop that can?

you already paid for the car? don't mind a new car payment prolly save you some cash to go find one with a 5spd already. and a lot of headaches.

unfortunately, due to parental restrictions thats not really an option. They are willing, however, to give me the money it would cost to replace my auto tranny to put towards a swap. So any ideas?

dont be ridiculous.

i loved my car, and i'm happy i swapped it. best 'mod' i ever did.

cost me 250 in parts and my dad helping me a weekend with the welding since at that time i wasnt the best welder.

my one tip is doing it all over again i woulda cleaned up the AT wiring while i was in there... now i have quick connectors laying around in there, and need to clean it up.
