Default 2001 accord Transmission skipping 2nd gear when cold

Dear,
I have accord 2001 2.3 LXI
Transmission was rebuilt couple of months back.
the first problem now:
When the car is cold (6-8hours ) usually in the morning when i go to work.
the car starts fine, when driving, the car skipps the 2nd gear and engages in the 3rd from first (after high reving for 4-8seconds)
when it engeges in 3rd, the D4 lights flashes...
what i do is i pull over, put it in P, turn the car off then On and drive,
after that the car still do the same thing, then i resrart the car again and drive
after may be 2-3 times of restartging the engin the car finally drives fine, first-2nd-3rd to 4th without any problem, all day as long as the car is hot.

the problem is only when the car is cold, when it gets hot, it works fine and the tranni works perfect all day without any problems.

The second problem: when i stop in a red ligh, i put the tranni to N and when i put it back to D it gerks (when cold and Hot)

I think i have a clugged solenoid, can any one advice me which solenoid is responsbile for the 2nd gear? where is it located in my car.
i can see all 4 of them but can not tell which one to pull and clean.

Please advice.
thanks.

well, honestly, your first course of action should be the fact that it was just rebuilt a few months back as you said. take it back to the place that did it. make them fix something if it is on their end. if not, and its a solenoid issue, something you can easily replace yourself. but no sense in doing that if won't fix it, and internally you have a issue.

Turned out to be a clogged Solenoid, it was fully clogged with black stuff.
cleaned it and put it back again and today morning the car was shifting out of first without any issue.
A mechanic who has rebuild my car should have adviced me to drain and fill the tranny oil at least 3-4 times to get it all clean.
thanks.
