EP3 hitting 1,000,000 miles?
http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/auto...million-miles/
I was just wondering, do you guys think the EP3 is capable of hitting one million miles? Ie Chassis succumbing to fatigue/stress, etc. And if it did, would the odometer roll over? I plan to keep my EP3 till judgment day/till i die (which ever comes first).
For those part of the mile high club (100K+), post up how many miles you got and if you think your EP will be rolling with the last of the EP3s...
2005 NHBP: 150,000 miles and counting

my car is at... 141k, I think. It's around that area for sure though. I'm a pleasant driver so I think I still have quite a longs way to go before its done. But I have bad luck with accidents so it wouldn't last that long.
I can see an EP3 going for a while. My civic (98 ex) went to 435k (about 270 miles), and still running.
Maybe a million km, but 1,000,000 miles.....thats a lot of mileage.

I have guys come into my work with old diesel Benzs that have a million miles. I am sure with proper care any car can hit a million miles. I am sure with certain domestics you might have to replace more parts to get there though.
I am rocking just under 100K on my EP3 and have only had to replace the back up light switch, door lock actuator, and a wheel stud.

My dads 1990 honda 4 door when we sold it it had 350,000 on the original clutch and motor. Plus we never changed the oil in this thing, just kept on putting more in. Honda's will go forever.
i heard saab did this promotion where if you were the original owner, and if it was the original engine they'd give you a free saab if you hit a million miles. i think if saabs can do it, hondas could too.
Im at 112k now and my car is cleaner than most 10k cars. OEM paint, and not a single spot of rust except for a few bolts here and there on the undercairrage. Im also keeping my car forever, and I have no doubt it will hold up!
I bought my EP with the intention of keeping it forever. I also don't have any rust, looks like a one year old car underneath. Right now I'm only doing about 5k a year so....
208k on '02 ep3,,,,, im the 2nd owner, got it at 149k in immacuate condition with new brakes all around.
I did the clutch at 202k
Added the prokit recently and new shocks,,,, handeling is crisp on 34 psi.
No problems to speak of except low beam failure which there was a recall for, and door lock actuaters. It still pulls hard an has very little rattles!!!
I could see the chassis going a long long time.....All those ep3 haters can eat my carbon!
