Any idea what shocks these are?
Ok, thanks. I don't know much about suspension... I got the car like this.. but could I adjust my ride height? Raise it up a bit by moving that threaded cap? It's that or finding oem suspension for it. It's too low for my taste right now.
jack the car up and the gold collar will spin. move them up to raise the car. when you do so measure all 4 corners in various frame locations to get accurate numbers. if you load one side or raise one corner higher than others it will have a serious effect on handling
the shocks you have are ****. they are the same as oem at best and unless you have seriously light rates too underdamped for those springs.

Hmmm.. ok. I might try it. Thanks. Last effort before ditching it for oem suspension. Ground control springs are up there as far as quality and price though, right?
eibach makes the springs. theyre good. youre not going to find any better.
you loosen the screw on the collar and just twist it up. make sure you raise both sides, left and right while adjusting, or the swaybar will impede the progress. like raise the whole front when doing the fronts, raise the rear when doing the rears. but dont raise one corner or one side at a time.
btw, you WILL need to get an alignment once you figured out your final ride height or else the toe change will chew up your tires.
and lastly, those tokico blues suck. theyre probably blown already.
