Ok well i bought some Volk GR-N's from HMO the other week. they sat around until now because i was busy, and i got cracking on them last night. The wheels came in 2 different colors: light and dark gold, only came with 2 center caps, and 3 out of 4 of the red plastic valve stem trim pieces (i dont know what they are lol). Later this week im gonna buy some other Volk center caps from a guy on here, and hope they fit! if anyone has any of the trim pieces, i will buy them from you in a heart beat so PM me! enough said, its pixor time!

here are the wheels. i dont have a shot of all 4 of them before i took them apart, but you get the idea.

tools i will be using to take deconstruct the GR-N's

no air tools here man! 100% pure muscle! lol

here are the weights i took off of the barrels. they will need to be rebalanced anyways.

and here they are all taken apart. notice the baggies, gotta keep organized!

noticed this on the back of the faces. 490 KG. so i took them to the scale to weigh them.....

not even 10 lbs a piece, gotta love Rays Engineering

specs for all of you that want to know! 15x6.5, +45 offset all the way around. made in 1992, older than my car! lol

this is the red thing i need. if anyone has any of these, ill buy them!

this is where they go

if anyone also has some of these style center caps, holla at yo boy

this is my car that the volks are going on

and here are my current wheels. OEM hx wheels with all-season, 195/55/14
lol
now what im going to do is polish the lips, buy some project kicks lug nuts or rays locking ones, 5mm spacers in back and 3mm in front, maybe extended studs.
also, does anyone know if i need those hub ring things that some wheels require?
and lastly, let me know what color you guys would like to see. it can range from:
chrome dipped
polished
powder coating (any color)
spray paint
paint with designs on them
you guys help me decide! more updates to come!
cheers

Baller can't wait to see them done. I say polish the barrels and hardware and have the centers powdercoated some color, something different, and get new Volk stickers for them after

might even have to get together for a shoot when they're done!
. so im going to have a local sticker shop make them. i still have no idea what color i want to do the faces :/ glow in the dark seems pretty cool, maybe white, maybe polished, i dont know lol
The Maziora paint is basically high end, Japanese made, Chameleon color shift paint.
I've been looking around trying to find if there are any places in the States to purchase some, but no luck so far though...
Another cool color IMO, would be a nice gloss or pearl white, with rainbow flake, haha.
