Default Odd problem with dash clock and turn signals

The other day I noticed a weird problem with my dash clock when the parking/head lights are on. When the lights are on, the clock dims. I noticed that when I used my right turn signal, after making the turn and the signal cancels, the clock will "flash" to full brightness for a split second and then return to its normal dimmed state. When I say split second I mean like the length of the "click" sound when the signal cancels.

I haven't noticed it when I use the left turn signal, and even more odd is that it doesn't do it all the time with the right turn signal. If I flick on the right turn signal shortly after the previous right turn, then cancel it, it doesn't flash. It's like it only happens when I haven't used the right turn signal in awhile.

Any ideas?

it's a common thing... the dash clock and turn signals are on the same circuit.. and the reason your dash clock dims when you turn your running lights on is so its not harsh on your eyes at night.. honda designed it that way...

No they are not., the clock has a 12V+ constant circuit a 12V+ acc. circuit and a park light, [running light] circuit, the signal lights are on a 12V+ ign. circuit.

What is somewhat common between the two is the "Combination Light Switch", power for both the signal lights and the park lights go through the "CLS".

The only reason I can think of that the clock would brighten up for a sec. is the park light output from switch is "opening" or partially opening for that slit sec. when signal cancels. 94
