Default Seafoam to clean main manifold

I plan to use seafoam to clean main manifold of my 96 Honda Accord EX. But it looks that it was hard to remove brake booster hose from firewall. Can I remove PCV hose that connect PCV valve (locates top of engine and easy to be removed) and put seafoam to PCV hose to clean main mainfold? By this way is the cleaning effect same as to put seafoam to brake booster hose? Another question, since there will be ton of smoke ejecting when seafoam main manifold processing, which places and time are better to work for this job? I don't want to scare anybody and police will be called. Thanks a lot!

I have done this a few times and I wonder if the smoke are from the actual seafoam that is burning off and not the carbon? I would think water gives the same effect and does the same cleaning?
