Default Best place to stay near MIR for World Cup?

It's gonna be our first year down, so we've never been to MIR and very excited about World Cup. Any suggestions? Thanks

I've been staying at the Hampton in Waldorf when I go down to MIR. It's a nice place and has a caraba's italian grille in the same parking lot.

I think Waldorf is like 20 mins from the track. We are staying at the Marriott in Waldorf

These are the host hotels and these are where 99% of the racers are staying and they offer a "MIR" discount. They all support the WCF event each year, so give back to them please:

Thanks Jason and everyone, we'll take a look at these and see how it goes. Are these places trailer friendly?

just a heads up, waldorf is the biggest "town" and has the most crap but is the furthest away of the host hotels. laplata is a little closer has resturants/walmart etc (not as much "stuff" as waldorf) and califonia md has probably the least amount of stuff, their sign at their hotel pretty much always has track related info on their outside sign which is cool. its probably about the same distance from the track as waldorf, maybe a hair closer, but in the opposite direction.

The BEST place to stay for the WCF's is at the track!!!! Otherwise I would suggest the Hampton Inn, they have the most comfortable beds, and a free breakfast that is better then McDonalds.
