Step 4) repaint

Super light factory hood for cheap.

 

The lightest is no hood at all.

 

i brought my hoods used off a frind for 150.00. it's a fiberglass ZC hood. supposedly made by Area51 in cali (i think). i've been round a few CF hoods and mine seems lighter. way lighter. mine hood is to the point where if you put up the lil arm to hold up the hood it sags on the oposite side.

check the pic...see how it sags on the passenger side?
