h22 accord map question
I swapped a h22a in an 92 accord and my map sensor is a obd2, Is their a way i still can keep it or what other way can i use it or does any body have a obd1 throttle body available?Let me know what needs to be done because theres no plug in for my accord harness for the map,Let me know thanks. The main harness is obd1 from a 92 accord .
Leave the map on the throttle body unplugged
The map to a cb7 (92 accord) is located in the black box on the fire wall.....Just run all vaccum lines coming from the black box on the fire wall to the intake or TB and the map will be working fine......

On the accord the map is in the evap cannister. Assuming ur using a prelude evap cannister I believe you would need to grab the wires for the map and mount the map on the firewall and just make the wires long enough to reach where you mount it. You will obviously be using the prelude evap cannister.
The wires are YELLOW/WHITE, GREEN/WHITE, WHITE/YELLOW

nus, I'm gonna be doing this swap for my cb7 in the next month or so, I can't really figure out what more is saying about leave the map on the throttle body unplugged. Can you explain it a little better. thanks
On the h22 the map sensor is on the Throttle body, and on the f22 the map comes inside a black box on the fire wall with vaccum lines running out of it.....sense this swap requirs the f22 wiring harness there is no plug on it for the map on the throttle body so it eliminates any thought of trying to use that map.....
Take a look under ur hood of ur cb7 and there is a black box located on the firewall with 4 vaccum lines running out of it connected to the throttle body......After u do the swap just make sure u hook all of them vaccum hoses up (which i assume u would do anyways) and ur map will work fine and u wont have this issue......
When i did the swap i used the F22 upper half of the intake which sais programmed fuel injection, which allowed me to have the f22 throttle body with all the vaccum hook ups on it.....this is just something u can do but dont have to...
Hope this helps u guys....cause the swap was really easy for me, it was a lot of fun and definatly worth it.....i learned alot from it, and now i have my jdm h22a running 7psi and its the most fun ive ever had in a car..And its in my favorite car (the cb7)

Oh, ok. Ya I got this ultimate swap guide that shows how to wire up the map for the swap. I couldn't figure out what you meant for plugging up the map on the h22a, now I know. Thanks
