OEM Spring life EH2

Simple question but I know it has a lot of variables. Just bought a pretty decent condition EH2 with 251,xxx miles. It needs strut mounts and struts. Dealing with just the fronts for now. I got two options here. Buy a complete set of struts with springs from Majestic. Or buy some new OEM struts from a ebay member from Canada for a decent price.
A spring with this much age even worth running with new struts. I plan on buying the other corresponding rubbers like bump stomps, etc. Does not seem worth it and for the extra cash and buy a whole new package. Plan on keeping the vehicle for a while considering I just bought a brand new radiator for it.
Any input appreciated as I am new to the EH2.

Springs don't typically wear out. Usually what causes "sag" is the strut being worn or blown. I would find some KYB GR-2's or Monroe Sensa-trac's which are OEM replacements but IMO perform and are a bit better quality....as well as come with mileage warranties for stock cars.
'88 - '00 Civics use shocks not struts and as such they don't have strut mounts. Now that thats out of the way i've never really had much of an issue with OEM front springs, they seem to more or less last indefinately, the rears do sag eventually. When you're saying new OEM shocks & springs are they OEM or an OEM replacement? Because they're can be a big difference, OEM honda shocks are made by Showa, although KYB makes a good aftermarket replacement. Not sure who makes the springs. Good shocks and springs are worth the money. Parts store replacements are junk and don't last at all.

I was talking about OEM replacements. From Majestic Honda. I was unsure if I should pick up some new oem fronts from a guy on ebay. Or spend the extra cash and get them Majestic. The whole spring and shock package. Since I was planning on replacing some rubber components.

$111 for 2 new OEM front struts shipped. I do not want a pair of Koni's or anything aftermarket. I just tend to stay with OEM for 99% of my Honda parts.
$124 each for a complete spring and strut package all assembled with with new sleeves, collars, rubber, etc. Now that is each not including shipping.

Now the other poster mention sag in the rear. I remember the price difference is like $110 between your standard shock and a whole package of like $200 for a complete spring and shock package with all new rubber and collars. Opinions needed.
