Icon2 em1 setup

hi im kind of a noob to this car stuff but im lookin into buyin a em1...some dude i kinda know wants to sell me his 00 em1. he supposedly has a jdmb16a engine, with type r headers, intake mani, and throttle body..with a gsr tranny...he says the engine has about 50xxx on it...it has rota slips and the body is in good condition..do you think this is a good setup or will i end up having problems ? he said he gets about 142whp...?! and he want 6 g's for it..somethin fishy to you too or is it just me..thanks!

142WHP sounds right. $6k sounds low. But whatever. GSR trans sucks *** for that engine, though. The ratios are gonna be way too high for the B16A.

yeah is a compression check the only way to check if the motor is still healthy?? besides it shaking, smoking out the back, and pulling hard and that kinda stuff.. thanks
