It took me almost a month to finally find the one I was looking for.

Persistance is key.

I thought I found one last month. Someone on this site, Zum01, offered to sell me a YS1 LSD tranny for $700 plus shipping. It will be a month on the 23rd and still no tranny, no phone call and worst thing is no money...I'd watch out for him if I were you. He better watch out for me, because I'm only a few hours away

I got mine from a local salvage yard....it's out of a '92 Integra LS so it has really tall gears. There were GSR trannies out there, which would have better gearing, but they were $600 and upwards.

AFAIK, 90-93 Integra trannies were all cable. I know for sure the '92 LS was, because that's what's in my car ('89 Civic LX w/ B16) and I saw the car it came out of.

Hey Eraser, there are a few Y1's up here in NorCal let me know if you need the hook up. But I strongly advise to get one with an LSD and thats really rare if not expensive. And also if you come accross Tim Hastings at Upgrade Engineering, zum01 on this site, based in La Habra, CA., buy something worth $700 and dont pay him, pay me, lol...That freakin guy is a crook.

2 weeks isnt nothing.. **** I have been looking for 2 months, everyone wants over 400 for these things, I will not pay 400 bucks for a Non LSD USDM LS tranny.. complete bullshit..

touchy subject right now..

I begged nippon to sell me one and just about every other JDM importer.

I got a 91 LS tranny, covered in Oil leakage, shipped to me for $350. Revving it to 9k, and the synchros aren't grinding Guess I got a good deal

I looked for about 2 months for an LS tranny to mate up with my "Top Speed" turbo car.

I wanna see 160MPH+ in this thing
