i brought my car with ground control sleeves on my stock shocks, and found a good pair of used koni yellows. i'm just curious it would just fit right in if i wanted to drop the gc sleeves into the konis? or whatever part that is needed for it.

No they will not fit. You need GC sleeves made specifically to fit Koni shocks.

Try conntacting koni, you may be able to buy adapters

 

You can get the Koni specific sleeves from Ground Control for like $120. That's what I had to do earlier this year when I upgraded to Koni shocks.

 

If you are going to do all that, might as well finish it the right way and buy the top hats.

 

Not needed if the car isn't super slammed or if the springs are stiff enough. They make the UCA's much more likely to contact the shock towers anyway.
