Default Re Drilling Oil Pressure Sensor, How to remove shavings?

Hi guys my b18c block is at the best engineer in my area getting the oil pressure sensor location re drilled and tapped. The engine has only done 30,000 kms so im not too keen on stripping it. Is there any way for me to flush these shavings out?? (not that there would be much)

use some grease when you drill it. that will keep most of the shavings from goin in.

Didnt Re Locate, when putting the sensor into the block it cracked around where the sensor goes. Iv got the block back he didnt drill just needed to re tap after welding. But still there will be a small amount of metal shavings.

Dip the block in soapy water/solvent, blow all galleys/passages out w/ compressed air.

which is not the proper way to do it....if he missing any of the metal shavings and they plug a hole in the oil system somewhere...well he would have wished he did it right.

i know this is a dead thread but a way to get the shavings or at least most of the shavings out would be to start the motor with the switch out and let engine oil spray out, taking most metal shavings with it.
